Public Protector Adv. Thuli Madonsela on Friday welcomed, to her office, Dr. Maria du Toit and Mr. Kennedy Kaposa, who have been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) respectively.

Dr. Du Toit and Mr Kaposa commence their duties on Monday, March 02, 2015. Their appointment follows the departure - last September - of former CEO, Mr. Themba Mthethwa and ex-CFO, Mr. Dumisani Dlamini.

Expressing her delight at the appointments, Adv. Madonsela said she was thrilled to welcome the duo to the Public Protector Team.

Adv. Madonsela added that both Dr. Du Toit and Mr. Kaposa have her full confidence and support in guiding the institution to constantly enhance its own governance and management so as to lead by example.
