Public Protector to take part in panel discussion at the Internal Audit Conference in Sandton

Public Protector Adv. Thuli Madonsela will on Tuesday, 12 August 2014 take part in a panel discussion at the 17th Southern Africa Internal Audit conference in Sandton, Gauteng.

Alongside other panelists including Accountant-General at the National Treasury Michael Sass and City Press newspaper’s Editor-in-Chief Ferial Haffajee, the Public Protector will contribute thoughts on the topic “Key to Governance: Tough questions, difficult conversations and continual introspection.”

The conference is hosted by the Institute of Internal of Auditors South Africa and brings together accountants, internal auditors, risk managers, audit committee members, directors and consultants from the Southern African Development Community region.
