Public Protector South Africa to commemorate 20th anniversary
The Public Protector South Africa will on Thursday evening, 25 August 2016, commemorate its 20th year anniversary during a gala event to be addressed by the Speaker of National Assembly Hon. Baleka Mbete and Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Hon. Michael Masutha, amongst others.
The event will be attended by the previous Public Protectors, namely Judge Adv. Selby Baqwa (1995-2002) and Adv. Lawrence Mushwana (2002-2009) who will reflect on their respective terms of office. The incumbent Public Protector Adv. Thuli Madonsela will also address the event.

The event will also incorporate the Public Protector Excellence Awards which seek to profile men and women behind the celebrated look of the Public Protector.
