Public Protector releases investigation reports
As indicated last Friday, Public Protector Adv. Thuli Madonsela will on Thursday, December 18, 2014 release several investigation reports during a media briefing to be held at her office in Pretoria.
The reports follow investigations into alleged maladministration by the City of Johannesburg in relation to its failure to comply with City by-laws and the Constitution regarding hijacked buildings; alleged maladministration by the Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development in relation to the Suikerbosrand Project involving water supply to the nature reserve; alleged maladministration by the Johannesburg Metro Police Department relating to their interpretation of certain provisions of the Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences Act, 1998 (AARTO) and allegations of improper prejudice suffered by Aquaculture Project Consultants as a result of alleged improper conduct by officials of Bojanala District Municipality in the North West.
