Public Protector to release finalised investigation reports

Public Protector Adv. Thuli Madonsela will on Tuesday, 30 September 2014 hold a media briefing to release finalised investigation reports. The following reports will be released:

  1. Report on an investigation of maladministration by the National Empowerment Fund which allegedly resulted in prejudice to Ms Naomi Ngwenya.
  2. Report on an investigation into a complaint against the South African Bureau of Standards relating to the withdrawal of a permit for the manufacturing and sale of motor vehicle number plates.
  3. Report on an own initiative investigation into allegation of members of the public mauled by animals escaping from Hluhluwe-Imfolozi game reserve in Okhukho, Ulundi.
  4. Report on an investigation into allegation of improper prejudice as a result of alleged improper conduct by officials of the Bojanala District Municipality

She will also give progress report on ongoing investigations.
