Public Protector to host Higher Education Dialogue

On behalf of Public Protector, Chief Executive Officer, Adv. Louisa Zondo will host the Higher Education Dialogue. The purpose of the dialogue is to have parties engage and come up with a constructive approach to address the current challenges in higher education, particularly the fees crisis.

Attendance of the meeting is limited to invited stakeholders only in an effort to afford them the opportunity to openly discuss issues with one another with a view of arriving at a temporary academic justice solution and a share views on how the right to education for all can be realized.

The Higher Education Dialogue is the initiative of the Public Protector, Adv. Madonsela who believes that we are all in the same boat and must therefore support our constitutional democracy by collectively searching for lasting solutions to challenges to the realization of the right to education in our country

The dialogue will be attended by student leaders and university management.
