Public Protector, Deputy to speak on office mandate, corruption and building an ethical nation
Pertinent issues concerning role of the Public Protector and what the legal profession can do in protecting and advancing the work of the office will take central stage when Public Protector Adv. Thuli Madonsela addresses the university of KwaZulu-Natal Law Professions Day event in Pietermaritzburg on Wednesday.
Adv. Madonsela’s address will be followed by her Deputy, Adv. Kevin Malunga’s talk on issues of corruption, democracy, human rights and strengthening civil society towards an ethical nation at the national anti-corruption symposium hosted by the Durban University of Technology on Friday.
Adv. Malunga will be part of a panel discussion alongside Executive Director of Corruption Watch David Lewis and others.
