Public Protector attends two-week study programme in the UK

Public Protector Adv Thuli Madonsela will lead a delegation from her office to London, England, where they will attend a two-week study programme titled: When Citizens Complain: The Role Of The Ombudsman In Improving Public Services.

The programme, which is the 19th in a series of study programmes on the role played by ombudsman institutions -such as the Public Protector- in improving public services, is designed and arranged by Public Administration International, an organisation providing advice and support to public sector organisations and other bodies involved in the delivery of public services. It will take place from 10 to 21 May 2010. While there, Adv Madonsela will also hold bilateral talks with her counterpart in the United Kingdom, Ann Abraham.
