Public Protector to address UFS Symposium on Corruption in Bloemfontein

Public Protector Adv Thuli Madonsela will on Thursday, 05 June 2014, address a symposium on corruption hosted by the Faculty of Law of the University of Free State in Bloemfontein.

The Public Protector’s address will focus on corruption in the public sector and strategies aimed at combatting it.

The annual event aims to encourage public dialogue on effective strategies aimed at combatting corruption.

It will be attended by the leadership of the university including Chairman of the Council, Justice Ian van der Merwe, Vice-Chancellor and Rector, Prof Jonathan Jansen, members of the legal fraternity, academics and members of the public.
