Public Protector to address 9th Annual Health, Peace and Safety lecture at UNISA, Florida Campus

Public Protector Adv Thuli Madonsela will on Saturday, 10 May 2014 deliver a keynote address at the 9th Annual Health, Peace and Safety Lecture hosted by the University of South Africa (UNISA) Florida Campus in Roodepoort.

The Public Protector’s address will focus on “Citizen and Protection of South Africa’s Constitutional Democracy.”

The annual event which is organised by the UNISA Institute for Social and Health Sciences aims to draw on the legacies of the late Minister Dullah Omar and Mr Joe Moabi, by stimulating science-society dialogue and draw public attention to current challenges

The event will be attended by ambassadors, representatives of foreign missions, academics, university management and council, academics, community activists, representatives and members of the Moabi and Omar families among others.
