Public Protector’s investigation into the allegations of tender improprieties by the IEC in the procurement of a building

The Public Protector, Adv Thuli Madonsela had a fruitful and constructive meeting with the leader of the United Democratic Movement (UDM) Mr Bantu Holomisa, Mr Bongani Msomi the Secretary-General, Ms Jana Warffemius, the Chief Administrator in Pretoria today.

 

The purpose of the meeting was to brief the UDM about the investigation and to discuss progress made on the complaint lodged by Mr Holomisa. At the meeting, the Public Protector undertook to expedite the process.

 

The UDM confirmed that they are happy with the progress in the matter and are looking forward to the finalisation of the complaint.
