Public Protector's Receives Responses to Provisional Report on Minister Sicelo Shiceka

The Public Protector has received all responses yesterday on the provisional report on her investigation into allegations of breach of the Executive Code by the Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Mr Sicelo Shiceka.

The responses were received from Presidency, Minister Pravin Gordhan and Minister Sicelo Shiceka.

The Public Protector will study the responses and integrate them to the extent possible in the final report. The responses will not be discussed or commented on as this undermines the integrity of the investigation as well as the Public Protector’s effectiveness. The Public Protector will only comment on the responses in the final report.

The report will be made public after it has been finalized by the Public Protector. on a date to be announced shortly
